Anti Victimization Commission/Committee

Interview with Patrick Pillay, Speaker of the National Assembly
"As much as I like Danny Faure, I stand for change"
Patrick Pillay's ambivalent feeling toward Danny Faure is the most striking feature that emerges from this interview. He believes things are moving in the right direction in the country and yet reiterates his conviction that Seychelles needs a new government. The head of the Legislature also deplores what he calls the lack of will of the Judiciary to co-operate with other branches of government.

The setting up of an Anti- Victimisation Committee by the National Assembly is being questioned before the Constitutional Court. Are we heading toward a constitutional crisis?
