After listening to the second Presidential Press conference, that Truth Commission and the fact that President D Faure was born in Uganda/East Africa, our old East African People, Families and communities those who contributed to build this modern Seychelles - What has happened to those bright lights and nobler values - they lived and worked with Kenyan, Ugandan, Tanzanian, Zanzibari and Congo. We would like to address Minister St Ange, his Family - let us go back to Cold War Indian Ocean, Europe, France, Britain - I realize we are all getting old and lack the fighting energy as we had when young. Our ancestors left Europe with a Bible under their arms and a Cross these values we have inherited - any nation that builds is Institutions on/Upon corrupted values and knowledge will have never lasted - Among one of those claim I have submitted to the Truth commission was/is that original research for/of what became the COI. The mega Africa/OAU when we/I president this concept vision for the Indian Ocean , their threats, bullying, attempt to ban/expel me from the UNIDO Building in Vienna upon whose instruction - Africa very/utter corrupted politic - the USA, British, French, USSR< South African, Israeli, India, Gulf government Intelligence Services then - What it took to present that research/Study - the bloody dishonesty of Seychelles government/OAU - lies the military issues associated as such when one/anybody is involved is such project he or she need to have such knowledge, it is not Picnic, the theory and beautiful reports they have written - From the day those later in the Indian Ocean adopted to implement that COI the many associated military issues in Africa and the Region - those who know and had to know and we get that Truth Commission treating everybody as imbeciles - upon who instruction from Africa. Yet in Africa Proper they would never dare take such attitude/position - all that emphasis on the Drug management - the real problematic is the mind of that Nation compared to Mauritius and Reunion. Even those of French ancestral roots they have a very major situation with their thinking - denying all those who have give their lives to bring them freedom in that Indian Ocean and Seychelles .

The St Ange debacle a sad affair. For Alain St Ange personally. Also disconcerting for Seychelles as a country. Something went terribly wrong. Somewhere along the line. And some pertinent questions need to be asked. And answered.
Seychelles is a very small country. With equal International influence. Our Diplomacy should be geared towards protecting our integrity. As a country. And avoiding situations which expose our vulnerability.
The present incident evidently a clear failure. On both counts. The country took a position. Position contrary to its Regional Obligations. And had to comply. When called to task. Called to order. Process causing the country to lose face. And a fellow citizen considereable inconvenience. Some questions beckon.
- Who managed the Endorsement
- What was the role of Maison de Queau de Quincy in this process
- Why is it only now that the AU contacted the government on the issue
- Why was St Ange not offered a Managed exit
Something went wrong. It is clear. Circumstances need to be established. Circumstances that led to the mistake. And conclude whether our diplomacy is adequately Tooled for Purpose. The National Assembly should assume its responsibility in this matter. And instigate an inquiry.
Some thought President James Michel was a “canard boiteux”. They should think again.

Today in Seychelles
4 hrs ·
Tuesday 16 May, 2017
Presidential Press Conference
''More answers in July''
While President Danny Faure answered candidly to most questions, stressing that he will continue his dialogue with the Opposition, he was more evasive on topics such as ongoing investigations, and public outrage over a hotel development in Police Bay. The country will also have to wait until July when he addresses the National Assembly to get some hard answers on the subjects of alleviating poverty, reducing taxes and interest rates on bank loans, and the growing difficulties of the fisheries sector.
